Stock Market Caution

by Thomas Mullooly on July 24, 2007

I’d like to convey to you why I’m more cautious today than 99% of the brokers and advisers. We might just need a 10 minute conversation — we could have that in a conference call, or a Web meeting, or simply over the telephone.

Basically, it’s a function of risk in the marketplace, not the economy, the war, or the way Venus is aligned with Jupiter. It is simply about risk. The market indicators are at lofty levels, and moving down in a column of O’s.

This suggests we turn on the fog lights, turn down the stereo, and let off the gas pedal. Conditions are ripe for an accident and — whether we have one or not — we know the correct decision is to drive cautiously right now.

So if you are interested in learning more about the reasons why I am particularly cautious today, call Liza at 732-223-9000. Let her know you’d like to speak with me to find out why I’m more cautious today than just about everyone else in the marketplace.
